The quote that I chose from the text, is "...(drawing) an active line on a walk moving freely; without a goal. A walk for walk sake." It made me think of people, how we are always trying to describe something, whether it be a feeling or an idea, and sometimes there is nothing we can say or do to describe it. Instead we are at a loss. For an artist at loss and longing to describe the seemingly undescribable, it is that scartch of graphite across the paper and then something happens, call it inspiration, an accident, a stroke of genius! This "something" grows and blossoms under your fingertips and to think it all started with that aimless line.
